Shout Out to Sacred Heart Alumni – Save July 1!

Alums of Sacred Heart Parish School ~ Come enjoy food and fun with friends and teachers at the All Class Alumni Reunion on Sunday, July 1.

The festivities begin at 12:30 pm and feature a summer BBQ of hot dogs, hamburgers and more along with a Cookie Potluck table.

Other activities include a basketball free throw contest, a business card raffle, pick-up games of 4-square, and viewing photos in the Gallery of Grads since 1948.

In addition, the Andy Szymanski Family will receive the first SHPS Alumni Family of the Year award, a new tradition honoring alumni families of faith and service.

 Andy, Class of 1954, his wife Pearl, and children have been involved in many community organizations through the years, and he has served as president of Coronado’s 4th of July parade for decades.

Two generations followed Andy through the halls of Sacred Heart and onto his Independence Day team: son David ’83, daughters Laura ’86 and Michelle ’90, and granddaughter Paulette ’07.

Reservations received by Wednesday, June 20, are $5 for 2001-2012 alums and $15 for 1948-2000 alums. “Walk ins” on July 1 will be $5 more.
