Aloha! Welcome to Peohe's (Pee-oh-eees), Coronado's Tropical Island Paradise. Located at the water's edge in the Coronado Ferry Landing, Peohe's is certain to surpass your expectations with our exceptional food, warm-friendly service, and breathtaking views of the downtown San Diego skyline and San Diego Bay.

Experience our dramatic tropical interior. Set among the foliage, our tiered booths invite feelings of privacy - each with it's own vantage of the skyline and bay. And, weather-permitting, dine "al fresco" in Peohe's charming dock-side courtyard - It's a favorite during lunch and Sunday brunch.

Peohe's is open seven days a week, serving lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Reservations are accepted for parties of one to five hundred, and special menu packages are available for groups of fifteen and more. With a state-of-the-art boat dock and plenty of free parking, Peohe's is easily accessible by land or water - Just a five-minute trip from downtown via private yacht or water taxi, and a 10-minute automobile ride over the Coronado Bay Bridge.

Order the coconut shrimp or the delicious halibut with macadamia nut and banana sauce. Classy Hawaiian decor and private booths also make this a special place.

I love Peohes. This is a special occasion place for us and it never disappoints. We love the sourdough rolls, unique décor and private booths. My favorite dish is the halibut with macadamia/banana sauce. They will give you the recipe if you ask. Consistently good food and service.
My wife and I enjoyed an incredible anniversary dinner at Peohes. The food, service, and ambiance were ideal. While our best anniversary celebrations have been in Hawaii, Peohes offers a similar experience locally.
Summer (Tourist time) isn't a season to stay away from Peohe's! We go there for Saturday night 'date nights' to sit in the bar for a drink, lobster bisque and a salad. I like it for the drop in style of eating while skipping the hour + wait time which happens at our popular spots in the busy season(s). There's always room at a bar/cafe table for last minute 'date nights' with your sweetie!
We have been going to Peohe's since before we moved to Coronado.. Has it changed management recently? Tonight we went for dinner and were very disappointed, both in the food and the service.

Their normally excellent food was instead bland. Service was sub par.. We NEVER tip poorly but we did tonight. Water glasses were never refilled.. sodas were drained and sat empty for a long stretch - then someone came by and picked them both up and brought us back one refilled. Never did get the other one. Had servers walk past our table for 10 minutes.. Our napkins were on our plates and we kept trying to find our server.. No one stopped. We finally had to flag someone down and when we finally got our bill it was significantly more then we have ever paid..

We go out to eat all the time and don't care how much it costs - for a good meal and good service, we never even pay any attention to the bill. This time at Peohe's, though.. we definitely paid way too much for what we got in return.

Sad to say we probably won't be back for quite some time.
