Primavera Ristorante

A dimly lit, romantic special occasions restaurant. The Italian food is as excellent as the service. One of the dressier spots on the island, but it's worth it.

OH MY GOODNESS!! So this restaurant used to be black tie required and I wish it still was but I think they realized that it deterred a lot of customers. It is fancy and I wouldn't dare let my guests or myself be caught in jeans! There food melts in your mouth and when paired with a wonderful selection of wine I could just eat there all day. Dinner is an event and I usually spend a good couple of hours in there. Great for a double date with another couple or a small birthday celebration. They have a private room upstairs that you can reserve for about a 15 person minimum. It is an awesome completely private room!! Service is exceptional!!
Been here for special date-night dinners and it was so worth the babysitter. Excellent food, great service, nice wine selection. Very posh and makes a special night feel special.
Its such an odd location for such an upscale restaurant. Its right in the middle of a city block and the front of the restaurant is very unassuming. You can't see inside because the only window is darkened. As a kid I'd always walk by and wonder what kind of secret things were going on in there. This really isn't much of a review, since I've never eaten there...more like reminiscing on my childhood in Coronado.
Well, you were spot on with the 'secret' notion and it should not surprise you to learn that this was the "Secret Harbor", a quaint bar with a couple of pool tables, sort of an 'up scale' "Dannys" or "Little Club" of today.
