I think Sapori is here for the long haul and they have made great strides toward improving their overall efforts and I wish them nothing but continued success...they are part of my 'neighborhood scene' and I am pleased to have them here! We have sampled the fare a number of times throughout the spring...and the food continues to be a perfect combination of taste and seasonings! We continue to love the food, the ambience and the $10. lunch! Judging from the number of other diners, we are not alone in our opinion!

I must update my comments from April 2010 - Sapori offers the most AMAZING Italian food. We love going there for a true taste of Italy. Menu changes seasonally, owner is true Italian and very personable! Have been 5+ times and never had a negative experience. So glad to see a place like this on Coronado-- upping the standard!

Great food and the owners are always super friendly! Their unique menu is short and sweet and changes often. I often find myself daydreaming about their antipasto platter, which has a little bit of everything - fried cheese, carrot salad, crispy bread with olive tapenade, a hunk of melon, and more! Excellent creme brulee and coffee, too.
