Just wanted to tell you how very much I enjoy getting the eCoronado emails! Though my hubby (Steve) and I had visited there a couple of times in the past, we went last September and stayed for two weeks. We had SUCH a relaxing and fun time that we decided to make it an every September event! Reading the news from there makes me feel like a 'local.' Sure wish I could be! I could be one of your writers!

Just wanted to commend you on an excellent website, especially the dining section. My husband and I will be staying on Coronado island during the KIFM gaslamp festival and wanted to know where we can dine on the island. Great site, names, ratings, links, contact numbers and a brief description of each restaurant all in one. What could be easier. I'm printing it out and bringing it with us. Good work.
I just want to take this time to thank you for your website that I have found to be just what I need to see what / where my son has been living the last year on Coronado Island. I really enjoyed the bicyclist's videos of various places on your island. My son loves to bicycle and it was so nice to see the ferry he has told me so much about. He takes his bike over to San Diego and rides through Balboa Park, etc. Thank you!

I came upon your site today, and read about the 150th birthday tribute to John Spreckles, it was wonderful! We all owe him so much! I will always be thankful to my parents for finding their way from Texas via Los Angeles to Coronado in 1937. Tent City was still there when they arrived. As a native of Coronado, who is currently living in Virginia, my heart is and always will be in Coronado. Visiting 2 or 3 times a year is just not enough to keep up with all of the changes! Keep up the good work!
eCoronado.com is my homepage where I can check the Coronado news, weather and events going on around the island. I mostly use it for checking out restaurant menus before I order take-out. It's always updated and easy to get to from home or work.
My husband and I are coming to Coronado for the second time in as many years. We are scheduled for arrival the 17th and I cannot hardly wait. Until last Jan. we hadn't been back in 35 years, so you cannot even imagine the differences we noticed. Thanks for this website. Lots of info I can use.
Thanks so much for your very helpful information. We have just returned home to NJ after 2 weeks in Southern California. The day we did the "trolley tour" we drove over to Coronado and parked a couple of blocks from the pub where the stop is there. We had an excellent time. The trolley tour was definitely the "way to go." It was fun and easy. Your information was very very helpful to us and we really appreciate the time you took out to inform us. We love Coronado - it's quite a beautiful place - wow!

eCoronado.com has really captured the local spirit of Coronado. It's a great community resource for those both on and off the island.
