Thanks for posting this photo, Heinz.  

On Memorial Day 2012 at Star Park I presented flowers to remember all of our ancestors who gave their lives fighting for freedom from tyranny during the American Revolution.  

My ancestors fought in the American Revolution and I'm proud to be a leader in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) society.  

Thank you to Dennis Costa, Mike Turner, and their team at Coronado VFW Post 2422 who organized and hosted another meaningful and successful Memorial Day event.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dennis Costa, Mike Turner, and all of the Veterans, Active Duty and Reserve members of the United States military for your personal sacrifices to protect and preserve our American freedom.
