I stumbled across a parking lot full of exotic cars at the Hotel Del Coronado this morning: Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lambhorghinis, Bugatti Veyrons, and more. This morning at 915AM, a white Schnauzer was crossing the street on 6th and Pomona in front of cars - no collar, no microchip found (after scanning at the vet). A seemingly decent young man (blond hair, perhaps late 30s) came to our door this evening at 645PM claiming he's from Borrego Solar. We live on Ynez Place and he's been going up and down our street for now.
He read from a script on the back of his white folder (he wasn't well rehearsed at all) which stated that Borrego Solar was coming into town the next few days to do energy audits of your home.
When asked for a business card, he said he didn't have one and…

Hypothesis: Public egg hunts during Easter encourage greed, competition, and instances of bullying.
Evidence: On Saturday I watched 100s of parents and their kids coming together for an egg hunt to celebrate Easter weekend.
