    Sailors from the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) will be running the Coronado Valentine's Day 10K while they are deployed overseas.  The ship has been in contact with the race organizer and they have designated a scheduled no-fly day as a day to conduct the run.  Sailors will be running around the flight deck of the aircraft carrier while over 2,000 runners will be running around Coronado.  The Sailors will receive all the amenities that…See More

2012 Coronado Valentine's Day 10K

Registration for the 2nd Annual Coronado Valentine's Day 10K is now open and will be held on Sunday, February 12th, 2012.  The inaugural event was an overwhelming success and had almost 1,600 registered participants and raised $9,333 for Islander Sports Foundation and $2,333 for the Stephen J. Wampler Foundation... and we hope to raise even more in 2012.

Coronado Valentine's Day 10K will be SOLD OUT soon!

The inaugural Coronado Valentine's Day 10K is close to selling out in it's first year!  The event will be capped at 1,500 participants this year and it is expected to reach that number in the first week of February.  If you or anyone you know has been putting off registering for the last minute, let them know to do it soon or they may miss out on this great new event.
