- Born and raised in Coronado, these are memory-laden places: The library (before new construction), the tiny park on First street right on the bay, the duck ponds at the Ferry Landing (again, long time ago), the Dairy Queen (old), the movie theater (waaay old), the old football field, Spreckel's park, etc.
