These days, in spite of the changes and growth of town and changes in my life, I feel fortunate to be back here and enjoying everything Coronado has to offer, especially now with my own two kids.

Sidewalk Biking on Orange Avenue - Liability for City?

It's Sunday morning just before noon and I just watched an adult riding his bike on the sidewalk in front of Starbucks run down a little girl. And the cyclist and his female companion, who was also riding her bike on the sidewalk, was absolutely indignant that the kid's parents would let their daughter unsupervised on the sidewalk.

Why is it the "I'm entitled" attitude has become so accepted and our local law enforcement turns a blind eye to this? Yeah, this is a quaint little place…

It's rare when I'll carve out time on the weekend to just chill out and throw a movie in the DVD player. I normally can't sit still long enough. But when the rain on Sunday trapping me indoors with my kids, I found myself in desperate need of entertainment. So it was quite convenient that I had a DVD sitting on my desk that Bo Bucklew had loaned to me a few weeks back. I needed to watch it and get it back to him.

I'm not sure if you will be available on such short notice as the only afternoon we have available is tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 23. My "extended" family does not all arrive until tomorrow around noon and then leave early Monday morning. So let me know if that time frame, by any stretch of a possibility, fits your schedule. I was thinking pre-sunset when the light is perfect at the beach. There are a total of 7 of us and what we would really like is the images on a cd so we can have them printed as we chose them either on paper or canvas.
