Join Coronado's 50th Mayor and the Bicycle Advisory Committee for the 2nd Annual Mayor's Ride.Meet at Spreckle's Park at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, May 11, for a leisurely circumnavigation of Coronado led by Mayor Casey Tanaka.The purpose is to view, up close and personal, the improvements made for bicycling in our fair city. Mayor's Ride - Saturday, May 12th

Just a reminder that everyone is invited to join the Coronado Bicycle Advisory Committee as we take Hizzoner and the Council on a tour of the Village to point out where the Bicycle Master Plan envisons improvements to our bicycle infrastructure.

Saturday, May12 at 11:00 a.m. in Spreckel's Park near the corner of 6th & Orange.

The plan is to ride down Orange Avenue to Centennial Park then around the Village on the proposed Scenic Loop counter-clockwise.

Everyone is invited to join The Mayor, the council, and the Coronado Bicycle Advisory Committee for the first Mayor's Ride. We'll depart Spreckel's Park (6th & Orange corner) at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12th for a trip around the Village, and the BAC will describe the new Bicycle Master Plan and the good, the bad, and the ugly about cycling in and around Coronado.

We'll head down Orange Avenue to Centennial Park and then counter-clockwise around the Village finishing…

Also, I didn't make a campaign promise about coffees at 1134. I hosted coffees during the campaign under the slogan, "Coffee with the Candidate." So far, no broken promises :-)
