FUEL Juicebar is a family-owned smoothie/juice bar and full-service coffee shop serving delicious smoothies and amazing coffee in a hip, upscale environment in beautiful Coronado, California.
When we decided to open FUEL it was in response to a need we felt wasn’t being served in the community. We wanted to provide quick, healthy meal alternatives to fast food shops serving calorie and fat-laden smoothies with minimal or no fruit content.
We are passionate about serving our customers fresh, healthy smoothies and juices, made from whole fruits or fruit purees (never powders or gels) and vegetables. Our smoothie turbochargers are the best quality supplements available. Barlean’s Fish and Flax Oils, Liquid Health Vitamins and Mygenix provide essential Omega-3 Fatty Acids, vitamins, minerals, protein and herbs.
We are equally proud of our coffee. We grind locally roasted Calabria Café beans fresh for each order. Along with lattes, cappuccinos and mochas, we offer a great cup of brewed coffee, individual carafes of French Press coffee, and iced and blended creations. We also offer a selection of black and herbal teas, yerba matte and chais.
Our locally-grown, certified organic wheatgrass is some of the sweetest and most potent you will ever try.
We also wanted to provide an environment that was a little more inviting than the average smoothie bar or noisy coffee shop. Our shop has an energetic and fun vibe, enhanced with a waterfall, plants, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and free wi-fi.
FUEL offers a welcome respite from the fluorescent sterility of most fast food locations.
If a healthy mind needs a healthy body, then all of our bodies need a healthy environment. At FUEL we are committed to environmentally friendly business practices. As much as possible we use only compostable serving ware. All of our hot and cold cups, lids, straws, fruit bowls and sandwich containers are made from compostable materials. Our fruit and vegetable waste is collected in bio-bags which are also fully compostable. If you are a gardener, please come and get one at the end of the day for free!
