Coronado's Newest CERT Team Members

My wife, Sherril, and I completed the 5 week classroom and hands-on training to become Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members this morning. The classes are free and are offered at the Coronado Police Station EOC facility. Our instructors were Coronado EMT's and Fire Personnel. If there is an emergency such as the recent power outage, look for us in our green helmets and vests. We're here to help!

Prom Season at Coronado High!

This blurb isn't meant to embarass anyone (especially my neighbor) but I thought it was so cool, so creative to drive home this evening to find this sign hanging from his balcony. My wife is certain that the sign is referring to the girlfriend of the young man that displayed the sign and believes it to be very romantic.
