What are some things you love about Coronado? Favorite places on the island?
Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on this earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. Animals obtain food by force. Price of gasoline in Coronado. . .

Having lived here for many years, to this day I don't understand why the two local gas stations charge what they do for a gallon of gasoline. The simple math follows:

  • Average automobile holds 18 gallons of gas.
  • 18 gallons X (times) average price in San Diego @ $3.05 = $54.90
  • 18 gallons X (times) average price in Coronado @ $3.56 = $64.08

Yes, I understand the value of our dirt, yet still, it just seems unneighborly. . .
