Coronado All Age Book Exchange is Sunday, May 19, 2013

Joey Simon and Ben Williams helped plan the Coronado All Age Book Exchange. Coronado Middle School seventh graders Joey Simon and Ben Williams decided to try something new.  With a little help from their moms and a partnership with their sisters, they will not only help you trade your books for new (new to you),but will give the money they raise to provide babysitting services to military families with a deployed service member.  For each gently used book you donate, Joey and Ben will give you…See More

Hi Kellee,

Your guess for mystery photo 26 is correct. I'm getting lots of correct guesses...so I'm assuming this one was too easy. I'll have a harder one for you next week. Thanks for playing.

BTW...please have your daughter email me with her suggestions for the mystery photo of the week. I would LOVE to have them and whichever images I use...I will give her full credit online. Thanks for telling me. I'm glad your both having fun with it.

Hi Kellee,

Thanks for the article. The class was very beneficial to all those in attendance. Many ladies left here feeling more confident and aware of potential threats. We had our youngest student (only 10) up to 40 years plus. I love watching students feel empowered. I believe all girls heading to college must attend a self defense class. People invest $30,000 - $40,000 a year to send their child to a university, often a 1000 miles away, with no training. I really don't understand how people can't make a 3 hour investment in their child's safety. As a father of a daughter - I really don't understand. Parents - Please enroll your child in a self defense class either at Coronado Training Center or any other studio that offers such a program.
