How are you connected to Coronado?: I'm a Coronado local.

What are some things you love about Coronado? Favorite places on the island?: Love the quaint throwback atmosphere of small town Americana!
One of my favorite things to do is to walk or ride my bike through the neighborhood. I appreciate the various cottage styles, the gardens and the smile of familiar faces.
My favorite things? Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens...

Given that, I really don't think folks need to change their lifestyles and be kept hostage in their homes - there just needs to be a little learning/tweaking in preparation for contingencies. Your friend did nothing wrong, she just needs to get updated, so she doesn't need to fear these sort of things again IMHO. - Most people do.

Life should be loved and lived. - I am sure you agree.

Thanks for becoming a friend, and your thoughtful note. - There is a lot more your friend can do to protect herself, and if she can't get good advice from friends and loved ones on that subject, I would be glad to give her some more tips. I am in the Coronado Phone Book, so feel free to give her my number if you like, so she can call me and remain anonymous if she likes. - That might feel comforting for her, all things considered.
