- Coronado is home. My great grandmother worked at the Hotel Del for 50 years. My grandmother graduated from CHS, along with my mom, dad, aunts/uncles, etc. I am class of 1987. My children will be 4th generation graduates. We love the beach, the parks, the schools, the small-town feel. I love having memories to share with my children as they grow up here.
