Come meet Libby, PAWS of Coronado Pet of the Week, and updated adoption story for Nelson!!

Libby is a female Golden Lab Retriever.  The vet estimates her age at 5-8 years old, and she's about 70 pounds in size. This very interesting girl has got personality plus.  Her new family will enjoy her relaxed and gentle spirit.  Tennis balls are her passion; she watches over them like a mother hen protecting her chicks.  It's her job, and she is enthusiastic about it.  Libby can manage to carry two tennis balls in her mouth at once and is going for the record for how many can actually fit. …See More

Come visit three new furry friends available for adoption at PAWS of Coronado

Lina is a 3 year old female Black Shepherd mix.  She’s drop dead gorgeous and smart as a whip.  Athletic doesn’t begin to describe her.  This dog would make a great fit for anybody interested in agility training or playing frisbee; dog beach is calling her name.  She’s sweet and gentle with people and gets along with other dogs. This girl has it all: beauty, brains, and good energy. Spend some time in the yard, you’ll be very impressed.…See More

PAWS of Coronado needs help from the community! Looking for foster homes for several senior cats.

We have an urgent need for foster homes for our senior “Baby Boomer” cats. The Coronado Animal Care Facility has limited space to house the PAWS of Coronado senior cats for adoption. Because of this, several of these cats have been moved from the cat community rooms and are now living in cages. These living conditions are making the cats stressed and depressed – both of which can lead to health issues. Living in shelters can be difficult for any cat, but it is particularly hard on older cats…See More

Come meet Abercrombie and Fitch available for adoption at PAWS of Coronado

Abercrombie is a black/white kitten with a white blaze on his nose.  He and his brother, Fitch were born approximately mid March.  They are fun loving and each different in their personalities. Abercrombie is a boy who likes adventure, good times and staying busy.  His coat is soft as fleece and very interesting in its variety of colors and patterns.
