Pertussis Immunization Required for School - It's the Law

For Coronado residents, Dr. Yassini is providing whooping cough (Tdap) vaccinations for $49 plus a $10 administration fee. So far this year there have been 5978 cases of Pertussis reported (including 10 infant deaths) throughout California. We haven’t seen this many since 1950 when 6,613 cases were reported.The California Department of Public Health is recommending all Californians 10 yrs and older receive a booster shot known as TDaP.TDaP vaccination should be covered by insurance so see your doctor.
