Things I love about Coronado:
Friendly people
Ocean air
Dog-friendly
Volunteer police dept. black and whites (cop cars) staffed with senior citizens (who wave at you)
Boats are everywhere
Senior citizens riding their bikes around town with their lap dogs (i.e. Yorkies) in a basket resting on the handle bars
Serene island pace
San Diego skyline
The 275 lb Bullmastiff seen around town
The weather (of course)
Random Ferrari / Maybach / Bentley citings
Golf carts used as cars
Coronado Shores including the Beach Club
Where else can you see a Golden Retriever poking his head out of the sunroof of an SUV as the car is being driven down the road?
This place would make Norman Rockwell proud
Military bombers and helicopters flying over our beach
Navy ships and submarines cruising our shores
Our annual July 4th parade
Dog Beach
Adults commute to work on their bicycles - year round
Dolphins swimming along the beach - and if you're lucky you'll see them jump entirely out of the water - on even rarer events you'll see a sea lion
Watching pee-wee football on an athletic field just across the street from the beach...beat that!
This is a Chargers town!
