"Fall Back" . . . and change those smoke detector batteries!

Good morning, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep today--but it's time now to do something very important with this extra hour.As a public service, your Coronado Firefighters would like to remind everyone about the tradition of changing your smoke detector batteries every time you change your clocks for Daylight Savings Time. Smoke detectors are one of the cheapest and best safety devices you have to protect you in your home. Carbon Monoxide detectors are another and both will…See More

The food was worth standing in line for, what a great idea to have on the same day as concert in the park! My two little grandsons are always thrilled to be at the Fire House!

The Coronado Firefighters are lucky--the City gives us two of these beautiful flags which we fly proudly in front of both of our stations! Good luck to all of the respondents!

How are you connected to Coronado?
I'm a Coronado local.
What are some things you love about Coronado? Favorite places on the island?
Favorite things: The wonderful people of Coronado . . . who it has been our pleasure to serve and protect . . . since 1892.

Favorite places:
. . . sitting in front of the Fire Station on a warm Sunday evening in summertime . . . waving at all the kids and chatting with the families as they tote their picnic baskets to the weekly Concerts in the Park.

. . . the place of honor: leading off the 4th of July Parade and marching in our "old school" Class A uniforms alongside our lovingly restored 1938 "Old Mack".

. . . at your door or at your bedside . . . at any time of day or night . . . working hard to help make a bad situation better.
How did you hear about eCoronado.com?

PARENTS: Watch this by yourself first then WITH your kids (the comments posted below the video on… Continue
