Coronado permanent roundabout on hold

CORONADO — Residents who live near a large and unwieldy three-way intersection in Coronado will have to wait a little longer to get a permanent traffic-calming roundabout installed.



The City Council, which supports the idea of a roundabout but is dealing with a $120,000 budget deficit this year, has decided to place the project, estimated to cost $1.2 million, on a list of endeavors it will consider funding as early as next year.
