DUI Checkpoint in Coronado on May 28

On May 28th there will be a DUI checkpoint in Coronado on Third Street as you come over the bridge.  Access to Glorietta Blvd. from Third will be closed off.  It looks like officers from a variety of South Bay will be participating.  At least one tow truck is already parked on Third.  Hopefully drivers are being smart and not drinking and driving this holiday weekend, or any other time.
