Tartine and Boney's Bayside Market both run successful coffee businesses that are not chains. Coronado seems to struggle to maintain its quaint small-town feel as bigger business threaten to take…

Movie Review: Men in Black III in 3D at the Village Theater

They are back... in time!

The plot follows Agent J (Will Smith) as he travels back in time to kill an alien before that alien can kill his partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones). It is action packed, humorous and overall an entertaining movie. Bonus; it is in 3D! For the Jones fans, don’t be surprised if you do not get your fill of him in this movie. Most of the time you see Agent K’s younger self played by Josh Brolin. However, for…

Plane Crashes into Water in San Diego Bay

A sunny Memorial Day weekend flight ended in a panic as a small single engine plane slammed into the San Diego Bay, narrowly missing a waterfront hotel and shocking onlookers.

The plane, a cessna-152 operated by Aerial Advertising, was flying a banner that read "Honor our Heroes" over the USS Midway aircraft carrier Saturday.

At about 600 feet in the air, the engine shuddered to a stop.

One of the two pilots on board, Ron, who wanted to be identified only his first name,…
