Popular Coronado Pub McP's Turns 30

CORONADO, Calif. - A popular Coronado institution turned 30 on Monday, July 30th. McP’s Irish Pub on Orange Avenue has been serving military regulars and tourists alike for three decades. 

“My name is Greg McPartlin. I'm a former Navy SEAL,” said the owner Monday afternoon. “After getting kicked out of every bar in town, I built this 30 years ago.”

Junior Crown Cup Tennis Tournament - Entries Close August 1st

Coronado Tennis Association is hosting the Annual Junior Crown Cup tennis tournament this weekend August 4 & 5 at the Coronado Tennis Center.  The tournament has events for 10 and under players, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16-18 and under players both boys and girls divisions.  Singles are on Saturday and Doubles are on Sunday.

Relay for Life is an American Cancer Society fundraiser that helps the ACS provide research, education, advocacy and services to those with cancer.
