Looking for mystery bike rider from Sunday evening occurance at Vons

Last evening, Sunday, Oct.30, at about 5pm I was driving out of the parking lot and a white female riding a black bike ran into my car. I was driving a steel gray Mercedes. This woman and the bike fell to the ground. She had apologized when she realized the accident was her fault. I looked at my car and saw a small scratch on the trim. I did not want to cause any further distress to this woman. After determining she was alright, although clearly shooken up we both left. When I returned home and… Continue

BEHAVIOR BLOTTER: Have You Been Bullied in Coronado?

I play tennis in a public league in San Diego and meet a lot of tennis players around town during the seasons. Since it's a competitive league, the relationship you establish with your opponent that you only JUST met, can sometimes be tense.

The other day, I played someone who showed up late, questioned ALL my line calls, and called me some names when I had made some good shots. "You must be inspired by a demon to get that shot in." In most cases, I remain cool-headed and calm when… Continue

New Policy at Nicky Rottens?

My husband and a friend of his decided to hit Nicky Rottens Sunday to watch some football and have a few beers. The hostess at the door told them that they were "trying out a new policy, kind of an experiment" where patrons were not allowed to stay for more than 2 hours. Despite that less than encouraging welcome, they went on in and asked the bartender if this policy was for real. The bartender told them that as long as they kept ordering beers, they were OK to stay. I find this wrong on so… Continue

More than 83,000 cars per day use the Coronado Bridge, according to city officials. But once over the bridge, drivers are greeted with empty toll booths serving no real purpose.
