Community Voices: The Silence is Deafening from the City of Coronado

Many blogs and letters have been written in the past couple months regarding "Del Beach".  Even if the Hotel DOES have some long standing legal right to exclusively occupy that area, residents are rightfully outraged by this "land grab" of OUR beach, and further by the disparate treatment whereby smoking and drinking on the beach is acceptable for Hotel patrons but not for local residents.

Free Fireworks Photography Class Wednesday Nov. 30th!

Come join me at the Dan McGeorge Gallery Wednesday night, November 30th, at 5:00 pm, for a free lesson on photographing fireworks.  I'll explain the process, help you get your camera set to the proper settings and have a dry run in the gallery. Then off to the beach and the Del about 5:45 to set up, and wait for the fireworks show a little after 6.

Amazing Sandcastle in front of the Hotel Del Coronado!

This morning's walk was met with a beautiful and meticulous sand castle shown here.  Go check it out before the waters rise and fill its moat.
