Bike path marking needed along Glorietta Blvd between 5th and San Luis Rey

Happy Mother's Day to Coronado Moms Everywhere!

eCoronado.com would like to wish all the Coronado Moms on and off the island a very happy Mother's Day. Our family celebrated early yesterday and took 'mommy' on a bike ride from Coronado, across the San Diego Bay via the Coronado Ferry, riding bikes to Seaport Village and then a picnic overlooking Coronado. We enjoyed views of the Midway, sailboats and 3 Navy carriers 'parked' at North Island. All in all,… Continue

It included riding along Ocean Blvd towards the Hotel del Coronado, continuing down Orange (HWY 75) with the Coronado Shores on your right, crossing the street over to the Community Center, hopping on the bike path going back towards… Continue

Crown City Cyclists Thank Fire Department

Last month, the cycling group thanked the Coronado Fire Department with a plaque recognizing the many times ---well over a dozen---that they have come to the group’s rescue.

Enough CCC members, who have broken their clavicle and more in bike spills, have formed their own mini-group. They laughingly call themselves the Crown City Cyclist’s Clavicle Club (or CCCCC). These riders and other members of the group posed with several firemen who came to their meeting place to receive the… Continue
