Tartine and Boney's Bayside Market both run successful coffee businesses that are not chains. Coronado seems to struggle to maintain its quaint small-town feel as bigger business threaten to take…

Come meet Abercrombie and Fitch available for adoption at PAWS of Coronado

Abercrombie is a black/white kitten with a white blaze on his nose.  He and his brother, Fitch were born approximately mid March.  They are fun loving and each different in their personalities. Abercrombie is a boy who likes adventure, good times and staying busy.  His coat is soft as fleece and very interesting in its variety of colors and patterns. He's cute as can be and will do great with a family who wants to play with him.  Fitch is mild-mannered with the look of a Russian Blue.  The…

Bridgeworthy: A Visit to Suzie's Farm

"We are bound by a small, sometimes magical fruit called the strawberry. This fruit has the power to make tears dry up, make friends with enemies, make sick people feel better, make the elderly feel younger by bringing back pleasant memories of days gone by, make acquaintances of strangers, and above all make little children smile. What other fruit has that power?"…

Come meet Avery and Amelia, PAWS of Coronado featured Pet of the Week available for adoption

These kittens, Avery and Amelia are part of a foursome of kittens ready for their new homes.  Born to a Calico mom, she cared for them the first four weeks and allowed foster families to continue the job of bonding them with humans.  These kittens light up when you walk into the room, are ready for whatever action comes their way, and curl up on your lap when it's time for naps.

It's kitten season, so come on down and meet our gang.  With many to choose from, they are fun, cute, and…
