Dr. Beach announced his top 10 Beaches for America and Coronado was not on the list. Coronado Beach was named #1 beach last year, but per Dr. Beach's rules, does not qualify for future lists. On an average day, more than 70,000 cars and trucks cross the Coronado Bridge suspended hundreds of feet in the air.
