Thank you Again KYDS TV; Live on the 4th of July

That created a void for many life long residents of Coronado too old, ill or fragile to actually attend the parade. Without a means to see the event, as they had for so many years, we launched KYDS TV…

VIDEO: Coronado High School Homecoming Floats

The freshmen, new to the art of competitive float building, designed a scene from "The Jungle Book", complete with a waterfall, tree, and students dressed up as animal characters. The sophomores, returning from a demoralizing loss last year in which they were disqualified for allegedly using help from parents, are still bitter, and put… Continue

Coronado Police Try to Enforce 5am Seat Saving

I went down to the Orange Avenue 4th of July parade route and the entire median was full by 6am. I spoke with some early risers and they said they tried to put down their chairs/blankets as early as 3am, but the Coronado police made them wait until 4:59am. Also, there are postings all over Orange that say 'no canopys' and of course, there are canopys everywhere. I don't expect there will be any citations over this today.

Enjoy the parade (whether you are in the front row, or a few…
