There is currently a scam going on where the person on the phone claims a computer virus is plaguing the immediate neighborhood. The caller then asks you to follow steps on your computer to fix the virus.

Coronado Police Investigate Threat to CMS Teacher

CORONADO — Police are investigating an anonymous written threat to a teacher at Coronado Middle School, authorities said.

The teacher received the threat early Wednesday morning and police were notified immediately, principal Jay Marquand said in a letter Thursday to parents. The teacher was not named.

“This is both sad and disturbing, and I can assure you that we are working closely with law enforcement officers to find the person who wrote the threat,” the letter…
