I have been a military spouse for over twenty years. I have moved 10 times and stayed at a duty station for as little as four months and as long as three years. I have learned the roads and the freeways, the stores and the parks, the schools and the neighborhoods of all kinds of places in our great country. I have driven across the country more times than the average person and have had our three children with me for most of the time. I often tell people we are nomads.

Four minutes into the game, Mater Dei scored, but that didn't stop the Islanders. With two goals from senior Drew Maracle and a goal each from seniors Andrew Orozco and Kyle Koshland, the Islanders eventually prevailed for their third straight Division IV CIF Championship! The Coronado High School Girls’ basketball team finished their season in the CIF Division IV Quarterfinals Friday, February 22 with a loss to top ranked Mater Dei, 66-23. The score ineffectively portrays the intensity with which the Islander girls played. Finishing with an overall winning record of 15-13 and a league record of 9-3 the girls put up a good fight in a large, full gym against a very good Crusader team.…
