Coronado Public Library Junior Volunteers' Christmas Play

On Thursday, the Coronado Public Library Junior Volunteers put on a Christmas play for children. The play was titled "The Perils of Cookie" and was about a villain's plot to overthrow Santa Claus. In the end, he is foiled by his sister, who decides to become a hero and leave the Villain's league. VIDEO: CHS Teacher and Student Talk About Robotics Club

eCoronado.com Holiday Logo Contest

Recently, a contest was held for CoSA Graphic Design students to design a logo for eCoronado.com to use this holiday season. The logo designs were instructed to be "holiday" themed, and the prize for winning the contest is a $20.00 gift card to the local NadoLife restaurants (Mootime, Li'l Piggy's, Village Pizzeria & Beach 'N' Diner). VIDEO: eCoronado.com 8th Anniversary at Mootime



On November 9th 2010, over a hundred eCoronado.com members flocked to Mootime to celebrate 8 years of eCoronado. Those who RSVPd received $5 of free Mootime. The event was set to start at 6pm, but a few excited members arrived about 10 minutes early for moolicious ice-cream. Upcoming Sales at Christ Episcopal Church All Volunteer Thrift Shop

The Christ Episcopal Church All Volunteer Thrift Shop has some sales coming up for the holiday seasons!


- From November 15-18, there will be a half off sale on all merchandise. There will be new items added daily.

VIDEO: Coronado High School Homecoming Floats

The four classes of CHS have been working all week on floats to showcase at the homecoming parade on November 5th. The theme for the floats this year was Disney. The freshmen, new to the art of competitive float building, designed a scene from "The Jungle Book", complete with a waterfall, tree, and students dressed up as animal characters. VIDEO: New CoSA Director Kate McKnight Talks About Background, Plans for CoSA

Last school year, Kris McClung announced that she would be resigning as Coronado School of the Arts' (CoSA) director. This year, CoSA came under the direction of Kate McKnight. Kate McKnight was formerly the Visual/Performing Arts Coordinator at Fresno Unified School District. She was going into her eighth year at this job before taking up the reins at CoSA.
