Our dog was found by Coronado Animal Control this morning.

Unfortunately, she had been hit by a car and was found deceased.

Thank you to the many kind people who helped us search for her and posted our flyers. Coronado is truly a dog friendly town.

Our dog, Shakira, ran off from Pomona Ave. on 12/24. She was spotted on the North Island base on 12/25 and 26th but no news since then. We are from the bay area and were in Coronado for a family visit- we have now returned home.

We reported her to Animal Control, the military police, and posted flyers around…
