Cal is one very cool cat and is what we would term a “turnkey” cat. He is as friendly and affectionate as he is handsome. Cal comes out to meet every visitor with enthusiasm and is extremely generous with his head butts and allorubs. It is obvious that this guy thinks people are great.
Cal’s build is like a feline football player – he has a big head and a thick, muscular neck that he enjoys having massaged. Having lived outdoors, he has a few scars from his…Continue

Someone to Love and Adora
Our sweet Adora was found as a stray when she was still a young kitten. Her time on her own has made her a little shy and wary of humans to start, but with a little love and patience, this girl will be sure to settle in and steal your heart.

Enormous "THANKS!" go to our President, Karen Dwinell, and Head of the Cat Adoption and Foster Teams, Bob Miegl and Corinne Mitchell, for spending untold hours finding homes for each of the critters who had suffered through the ringworm outbreak.
Now the cats and dogs, kittens and pups can rest and recover from the turmoil of the past few months...and so can Karen, Bob and Corinne! But, these dedicated volunteers remain on call…
Many of our supporters have contacted us with concerns over the ringworm outbreak at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. Unfortunately, we have become aware that many people have received inaccurate information regarding the situation. Here are the true facts:

The tenants of the complex figured out after a few days that Sophia was obviously lost or abandoned and they gathered her up and took her to the Coronado Animal Care Facility to make sure she was taken care of.
It turns out that Sophia is a delightful cat – sweet natured, gentle and loving.…
