Coronado's Dana Neibert Reveals "DigiPlate" on Kickstarter - Seeks Funding

Coronado's Dana Neibert is an accomplished commercial photographer that just launched his first creative project to be publicly backed using a crowdfunding company called Kickstarter.  Kickstarter allows individuals to invest in projects, events, ideas and help bring them to life.  Dana's goal is to raise $20,000 to place a larger initial order so that costs can be kept down as they approach a public release.  Click here to watch the video overview of DigiPlate.

The Challenge
The laptop has become just as much as a part of photography as the camera. The problem with the laptop is we never have a good place to put it when we shoot "tethered". Sometimes a table is handy. Sometimes a table gets in the way. Sometimes the laptop ends up balanced on the edge of a chair. Sometimes it ends up sitting on some dewey grass at six in the morning. Then someone steps on it.

The Idea:  DigiPlate
We've come up with a solution that allows the laptop to be mounted with the use of many existing accessories in many creative and convenient places. For the past couple years, we've been using just a slab of aluminum for a mounting platform.

Dana shoots for major brands such as Four Seasons, American Express, Chevy, Silversea, Dodge, Ritz, Frito Lay, United States Tennis Association, Farmers Insurance, Mass Mutual, Olympus, United Way, AT&T, United Health Care, MGM, and many more.  Dana resides in Coronado with his wife and two children.
