Foodie Alert: French Creperie Cafe Now Open at 1120 Adella Avenue

Update: Fabrison's is now open for business as of June 15th, 2012. They are serving breakfast and lunch. Dinner will be added on July 1st. On Father's Day, get a free sweet crepe for dessert when you buy a crepe for 'dear old dad'!

A little Twitter birdie told us that Fabrison's French Creperie Cafe will be opening their second San Diego location in Coronado next month (June 2012) just in time for summer. Their first location is located in Little Italy and they are very excited to be expanding over the bridge to Coronado. They will be taking over the former location of Bino's Cafe at 1120 Adella Avenue. Bino's closed earlier this year in March. Their menu will not only include authentic French food, but the cafe will also show French films and offer French language classes.

eCoronado.com spoke with Fabrice Borel, one of the owners, and he shared some details about choosing Coronado: "My wife (Alison) and I were not really looking to expand, however, there was an opening in Coronado and the timing was perfect. We didn't want to miss this opportunity and now, the dream is becoming a reality."

The name Fabrison is a combination of the first names of both the husband (Fabrice) and his wife (Alison) - both are owners and actively participate in managing the cafe. There is a photo below in this post. We thought that they could have reversed the combination to form "Alice", but that just wouldn't be fair to Fabrice. You can read their entire story here.
