Various RVs and campers parked around Coronado seem to be permanent fixtures, what is the rule?

Since the 4th of July, I have noticed the same RVs and campers parked around the village with occupants. Obviously these folks are camping out and maybe move their vehicles every couple of days to another street or just around the corner.

What are the laws set by the city of Coronado pertaining to transient living in RVs and campers? Is this allowed?

Yes,and there ere are several other utility trailers that are definitely parked.. off the hitch.  One of them has been parked on the same street for months.  We would all like to avoid paying "storage fees" by parking in Coronado.  I hope we can get these questions answered.  RV's, campers, the huge Cox truck with the lift on it, the Bambi trailer parked near 1906 Lodge.  Then there is the 25' boat on its trailer on 9th.  hmmm maybe those Police Volunteers could start ticketing these "moochers".

It's obvious that some of the RVs are owned by residents in Coronado and parked on the streets but definitely not occupied, but there has been a camper at dog beach with a pink bike on the back that I know is being lived in. The tenant is usually inside sleeping or just waking up and looking out the window!

Any RV or trailers bigger than 24ft has to have permit to park from the city, anything smaller must be moved every 72hrs... I was told this by Coronado Police as i just bought a small RV..... Yes  there are some people that abuse the system . If some one in the neighborhood complains then police will check the length and and or tag the tires for 72hr check hope this info helps ...
