I went there a couple of weekends ago and thought the burgers and fries were great :-)

I loved how I could choose so many different toppings! The sauteed mushrooms made my burger so yummy. The fries are better than In-n-Out. We will definitely go back! The service was very friendly and fast for their 2nd week.

Freshly made and delicious! I know Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries from back East. I believe it started in Washington, DC. At the base, do they have peanuts in the shell and do they identify where the fresh potatoes for their fries come from?

are civilians, non military allowed access to five guys?

No, you have to be military or with someone that is military. Civilians cannot go on base by themselves!

Ok…, I confess, I’ve tried it twice. But the first time I thought I must have been hungry to think they’re great. I didn’t want to write a review until I had it again, so here it is…Great burgers!!!! Second time around I was convinced that they are great. Talking about a scrumptious, juicy, delicious, finger licking goooooood burger. It’s far better than In N out. You can actually find the patty between the buns. Remember…back in 80's “where is the beef” commercial? …Oh, yah, you definitely get the beef. Too bad that Five Guys is located in NASNI, and civilians can’t have it. I wonder if they have one of those mobile lunch trucks, just like In N out does!?! Or better yet, they should open their 2nd location on Ferry landing (wishful thinking).

No, were not allowed peanuts at the NEX and the potatoes come from Washington State. Thank-you everyone for your comments.
