Help me find my missing "Healing Dog". Last year, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I was hospitalized for a week, close to death, from a bad reaction to the chemotherapy. I was released on Mother's Day. That evening, my kids presented me with Frankie, a teeny-weeny puppy. Frankie became my soul dog and nursed me through a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He never left my side & often would sit on my shoulder. He then became "Dog Bird". There wasn't anything I did during my day that he wasn't included. Two days before this Mother's Day, Frankie went missing from my front yard. I have been totally devastated ever since as he was like part of my body and certainly my spirit and he to me. Please keep an eye out for him and assist us with his safe return to our home.

Frankie is a Dorkie (part Dachsund and Yorkshire Terrier). He is 1-year-old, male, neutered, and was wearing a blue harness. He is 1-foot long, 8-inches tall, & weighs about 10 pounds. He is black with brown markings and has silver streaks of fur on his head. There is a reward for his safe return & he does need certain medications.

I have enclosed a poster for you to display. I would appreciate it if you would display it until I notify you that we have found Frankie. I made him a promise when he went missing that we will always look for him.

Sincerely,

Kimberley Graham

No, we haven't found him yet, but I made him and myself a promise that I would look for him everyday & I do. I thank you so very much for keeping an eye out for him. He is very friendly & if you see him, you could probably pick him up. We're just not sure where he could be. I have been combing Coronado & Imperial Beach because of possible sightings. I have ads in the Coronado/IB Eagle & Craig's List, etc. Once again, I so appreciate you helping in our search for Frankie. S, Kimberley Graham

Please do stay positive!!! Just keep thinking about the moment you're reunited!!! You can manifest enough energy to make it happen!!! Remember, our furry kids are much better with feeling energy than we are! There are so many wonderful and amazing stories about dogs finding their way home. Just keep KNOWING you WILL reunite and he'll give you a million puppy kisses, telling you all about his little journey. :)

To everyone, that is keeping an eye out for our missing Frankie, there has been two sightings today/Saturday, the 29th. After visiting all the shelters and coming home very dejected, I told myself you still need to go out and canvas Coronado. Most of my posters are down and I concentrated on Imperial Beach for a week. So, I went down to Tidelands Park & splattered it. About two hours later, I received a phone call from a man who had just seen Frankie with a woman at Burger King. I rushed down there & handed flyers to everyone at the Ferry Landing. One group of girls said they saw him at Tidelands Park earlier with a woman of Oriental descent on a bicycle with him in the basket. The woman let the dog run around and he ran up to these girls & begged them for their food. I then rushed to the park & re-canvassed everyone there, but no one remembers seeing him. So, if this is Frankie, we at least have some clues & hopefully, the woman who has him is a Coronado resident.

So, for everyone who is on the lookout with me, look out!!! Thank you, Kimberley Graham

Our Friends & Family,

After a month long huge search for our Frankie dog, we finally have an answer. We plastered posters, website searches, cover letters to vets, pet stores, & rescue foundations. We had many volunteers who assisted us in our recovery. Many, many people and businesses assisted us. We went county wide. It was a huge effort & Frankie became famous.

Unfortunately, we came home today to find a letter stuffed in our door. It was from a young girl who said her father did not speak English. He had hit our baby with his car just a couple of blocks from home. He went around asking neighbors in the area if this was their dog to no avail. The family had him cremated, prayed for him, & spread his ashes very close to our home & one of Frankie's favorite spots for a walk. The man saw our posters everywhere and was too ashamed to let us know what happened. His family finally did. It was one month to the day that Frankie went missing.

We are at peace now because we always looked for our baby. I, and anyone that knew how special Frankie was know he is always with us and us with him. God rest our baby's soul, Kimmie's healing dog.

I want to take this moment to thank every one for all your kinds words and wishes. This is a very sad time for us all and also uplifting because we got to know a very special doggie.

Once again, sincere appreciation,

Kimberley
xoxo

And please send a special message up to healing dog heaven for all he was and is.
