Coronado's Solar Discount Program is Back!

Sullivan Solar Power has launched a solar advocacy campaign in Coronado to benefit the community that we would like to bring to your immediate attention.

With a vision of creating a Coronado solar community, Sullivan Solar Power has relaunched a Community Discount Program for Coronado clients. Last year, our company administered over $45,000 in discounts to Coronado residents and increased the amount of solar in the City by 28%. This allowed the City to move up 19 places in the State for number of solar roofs.

The second run at a Coronado Discount Program launches today, October 1, 2010 and will run through January 1, 2011. You are encouraged to tell as many of your neighbors, groups and friends in
Coronado to take advantage of the rewards; the more people who sign up,
the greater your discount will be.

Coronado Solar Discount Program: Oct 1-Jan 1
To achieve the goal of creating a critical mass in Coronado, Sullivan
Solar Power has created discount incentives for homeowners to encourage
their neighbors and friends to go solar so that the entire community can
save thousands.
  • 30kW (~6 homes)- $500 off solar installation with Sullivan
  • 50kW (~10 homes)- $700 off solar installation with Sullivan
  • 70kW (~14 homes)- $1000 off solar installation with Sullivan

Sullivan Solar Power has created this opportunity in hopes that the community will latch onto the concept and provide support in assisting Coronado in declaring energy independence. Thank you for all of your support!

Great news! I love my system at home and as an unexpected bonus, it cuts the solar heat gain inside the house in the summer making it easier to keep cool!

I sure wish we could talk the City into putting it on all the City's buildings. Even with a 7-10 year amortization the City gets at least 40 years out of its buildings (both the Fire Stations to wit). I can't wait to get my Smart Meter and start selling my excess electricity back to SDG&E at the higher rate, too! ;-)

Hi Jamie! We have submitted a few proposals to the City of Coronado for several buildings but they have not chosen to move forward with any of their projects. We will be sure to keep you in the loop if anything moves forward! Have a great week.

A concerted effort should be made to serve/sell the condo associations. At least their pool systems. The Point, Landing, Towers HOAs need to be high priority.
