Beach N Diner Closed - Leroy's Lucky Lounge to Open Summer 2011

UPDATE:  Leroy's is open!

Editor's Note:  This message was received from NadoLife.  We are excited for the change and looking forward to bringing you more information about Leroy's Lucky Lounge as it is available.  Stay tuned!

=================

After six successful and fun years, we have closed the doors to Beach N Diner.

We have decided that a change in concept would better fill the potential of 1015 Orange Avenue.

With all of our restaurants, we have tried to bring something new and exciting to Coronado. Leroy’s Lucky Lounge will be no exception. With the addition of a liquor license and a planned opening in March Summer 2011, we will specialize in Urban Eclectic Food from sustainable natural sources as well as Cocktails and Craft beers from around the world! Leroy’s Lucky Lounge is about great food – without being expensive or fancy -- made with passion and the freshest ingredients for the most prominent flavor paired with “stiff” drinks and good wine! Our menu is intended to be exciting, unexpected and most of all fresh and flavorful. Overall, we hope to provide a place for our guests to relax and dine in good company.

We are excited for this opportunity to reinvent ourselves and thank our community for their support during this change.

So sorry to hear our favorite restaurant to take guests for any meal is closed!  Best place to go after church or any time!  **sigh**

I liked the Beach-n-Diner concept of Southern California living.  Great food, fun atmosphere.  But, judging by the name, it's still owned by the same family, so I'm excited to see what's in store.

@Corrie LeClair, Try Stretch's, across the street from Burger Lounge. They need business, and it's super yummy too!

Regarding the surfboards:

The surfboards that are left are now at Island Surf... there's 3 priced at $600  - (wood surftech, blue Don takayama, and Red/white/yellow Robert August)  - they can all be viewed and bought through Island Surf or us direct.  There's also a Clark Woody gun that is $1000 - Navy Seal board $1500,  Red Velzy $3000, and Balsa/Redwood Hanley $3000 as well  - all others are sold.
