Finishing Touches Being Added to Village Theatre: Opening Day is June 24th

These two photos were snapped today of the renovated Village Theatre. eCoronado.com has been asked not to publish anymore interior shots so that the public is absolutely blown away when they see it for the first time. Yes, it's killing us not to publish these photos since the transformation has been absolutely amazing. If you want to see what it looked like a year ago, be sure to watch the video and view photos from one of our first stories covering the theatre.

I stood in line for an hour and a half and did get my grand opening tickets. Hopefully the theater will run more smoothly and customer friendly once they get their kinks ironed out.

I am hoping one of the houses will be dedicated to foreign and art films. There is such a need for more of them in San Diego and I think Coronado would support this here in our town.

The terrazo sidewalk redo is just wonderful. Many bike tire skid marks. Hopefully the kids will tire of this 'tagging' and let the sidewalk be the standout.
