Walgreens Submits Design Review Application to City of Coronado

Can we finally put the rumors to rest and expect a Walgreens to open in Coronado? Walgreen Co. has filed an application for Design Review of the Home Federal Building (where Petco once was, at 925 Orange Avenue) for a redesign of the building's exterior. No further information has been provided at this time.

I would love to see a business go in that provides a good or service that is not currenly being fulfilled or at least one that adds to the small town charm of Orange Ave.
