CHS Homecoming is...Well, Coming!

Hello readers! We would like to inform you that Homecoming week is coming up, and starts on the week of October 24th. At the school, we will be having a variety of activities, for example, Spirit Days, all in relation to Space. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Cowboys & Alien’s Day, Wednesday is “Dress Like a Star!” Day, Thursday is Star Wars & Star Trek Day, and Friday, is Class Shirt Day! We encourage you to support your student in dressing up for Spirit Week.

On Friday, October 28th, we will be having our Homecoming Pep Rally during school, in which the Homecoming King will be chosen. If you would like to participate in one of our events as part of the community, we will be having the annual Homecoming Parade after school, followed by the Senior fundraiser BBQ, and the Homecoming Football Game, in which the Homecoming Queen will be crowned.

To finish up the week of Homecoming, we will be having the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 29th, at the Air and Space Museum. This event will be starting at 7:30pm, and will end around 11:30pm. Bids are currently on sale in the Student Store, located by the Space Mosaic, and will be on sale this week for $40 with an ASB card, and $45 without. Next week, Bids will still be on sale, but we encourage you to help your student purchase theirs this week, as the prices will raise during Homecoming week to $45 with an ASB card, and $45 without.

We look forward to hearing your replies, and we hope you’ll encourage your student to dress up! Next week we will have the parade details for you.

Our French exchange student will be attending homecoming this year.  They do not have an event like homecoming in France so we are all looking forward to a great parade, game and dance.

We do have a lot in store, eCoronado. We're glad you're excited!

That sounds wonderful, Carrie! We welcome him/her to Coronado, and hope they enjoy it! Do you know if they're participating in Spirit Week?
