CHS Cheer to Compete in 2012 West Coast Championships This Weekend
CHS Cheer is competing in the 2012 West Coast Championships on Saturday 3.3.12 at Universal Studios City Walk. Over 40 schools from more than 6 states will battle it out to take home the biggest hardware. Our 2012 competition team is made up of 13 varsity girls, 3 JV girls and 4 boys.
In January 2012, the team took home a solid 2nd place in "small team varsity coed" at the SDSU Winter Classic - Viejas Arena. The team has been working hard at perfecting their competition routine which consist of cheer, stunts, tumbling and dance.
Show your support for our Islander home team, they work hard throughout the year supporting our CHS athletic teams and participate in multiple community events.

Great job Islanders. The hard work paid off. The team performed well and brought home a fourth place trophy.
To the cheerleaders....you all looked great, and gave it your all. We are proud of you.
