Teddy Bear was found as a stray here in Coronado. He is a handsome apricot Wheaten Terrier approximately a year old weighing a trim 17 lbs. His fur is as soft as fleece, hence the name Teddy Bear. Mr.. Teddy does not shed, so he would be perfect in a home where allergies are a problem. This little man could well have been a circus performer as he is very athletic when springing up from his rear end. Teddy Bear will stand up and place his front paws on your legs and if you back up, he will walk along with you.
This guy is a true charmer overflowing with affection for everyone he encounters. Why bother with a stuffed toy Teddy Bear when you can have a real one in your home for the holidays! This guy is cut out to be with a family and also gets along just fine with other canines. Come check out Teddy and see what a meet and greet guy he is!
You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am - 4pm, every day but major holidays. To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com. All our animals are spayed/neutered, micro chipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. Currently the ACF is at full capacity with animals, we desperately need foster families in the Coronado area, and we are also looking for volunteer dog walkers. Please see our above website for more information and volunteer forms.
