Tradition: 2012 4th of July T-Shirts & Tanks from Local Merchants (Photos)

A fun Coronado 4th of July tradition is to buy your Independence Day gear from local merchants. We started taking photos of these few years ago and are excited to share the 2012 designs. We'll see you at the parade in your brand new red, white and blue gear.

Staff Comment by Kellee Hearther on June 24, 2012 at 8:00pm: Our family perused all the shirts (nice models) and we vote for Kippy's shirts and Bullshirt. We like those the best. The URT design took up too much of the shirt. Smaller would have been more popular with my children. Happy 4th.

Comment by Terry Straub on June 25, 2012 at 10:13am: We have been ordering shirts from Bullshirt for many years now but this year we get to pick them up personally and are so looking forward to spending the 4th on the Island. This is my sister's 50th reunion from Coronado High but unfortunately she cannot get there. I think her class of '62 was the first to graduate in the new auditorium at the time which I guess is gone now.

They are all really nice this year but I will always support Island Surf, formerly DU-RAYS Coronado's first surf shop owned by my family for 33 years. Happy Fourth to all
