A happy ending for long-time canine resident Peaches courtesy of PAWS of Coronado

Two weeks ago, our featured pet of the week was Peaches, a 16 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.   Here is her story with an update.

Peaches belonged to a well known family of long standing in Coronado.   Her parent passed away several months ago.  Family members were unable to keep her.  Photographer Barb took several beautiful pictures.  Kim wrote a perfect bio.  Our media team went to work getting Peaches on their respective sites.  Another well known family of long standing in Coronado and a very dear friend of PAWS saw Peaches on eCoronado and offered to take her into her home.  PAWS knows her well and  we are delighted that Peaches will live out her remaining years in a very loving home.

PAWS checked in with the Mom today and she said Peaches is happy and content.  She even helps with the gardening.  Mom said she has a playful side and does the cutest little dance that the family calls "The Peaches Dance".

Thanks to all who worked so hard to to help Peaches.   She is the luckiest little girl ever.

That is what it is all about.  PAWS helping pets, community loving pets and pets giving back.  Yeah for Peaches!
